The Insect and Disease Management training curriculum consists of three internet modules which cover basic information on integrated insect and plant disease management, insect and plant disease classification and biology, and the management principles used to control pests in agricultural cropland, turf areas, and ornamental plantings. It is a supplement to the WSU Publication EM051 Introduction to Insect and Disease Management. The information in the study manual and this internet curriculum along with the study manual Washington Pesticide Laws and Safety (EM012) are the basis for the Ornamental Insect and Disease Control Exam and the Agricultural Insect and Disease Control Exam, administered by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
