Name
PCO General Pest Pre-License Review
Description

The Pest Control Operator (PCO) pre-license training curriculum is for the PCO General license category. This course will cover: basic entomology, some laws and safety guidelines, biting and stinging pests (ex. wasps and bed bugs), cockroaches, ants, medically important pests, food and fabric pests, nuisance pests, and vertebrate pests.

This curriculum is a supplement to the WSU Publication EM019 Pest Management Study Manual for Pest Control Operators. In addition to this study manual, the Washington Laws and Safety manual (EM012) will also be important to review in preparation for the PCO General exam, administered by the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA).
