The Weed Management Principles training curriculum is a supplement to the WSU Publications EM043 Agricultural Weed Management Principles, EM035 Turf and Ornamental Weed Management Principles, and EM029 Right-of-Way Vegetation Management. This curriculum covers basic information on integrated weed management, weed classification and biology, and the management principles used to control weeds in agricultural cropland, turf and ornamental areas and rights-of-way situations. The information in the study manual along with this internet curriculum along with the study manual Washington Pesticide Laws and Safety (EM012) are the basis for the Agricultural Weed Control Exam, Ornamental Weed Control Exam, and Rights-of-Way Vegetation Control Exam, administered by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.
