Reviews general knowledge of aquatic weed management and provides an in-depth look at the positive and negative aspects of several aquatic weed management techniques. A variety of mechanical methods are discussed, from hand pulling, raking, and cutting to diver dredging, harvesting, and rotovation. Alternative management methods such as aquatic dyes and triploid grass carp are also discussed. Different types of aquatic herbicides, as well as application timing, equipment, and regulations complete this challenging but highly informative course.
